The Blanton Museum of Art invites and welcomes all visitors to experience its range of offerings. We recognize the diversity of the general public's abilities and needs, and offer our services to ensure the museum and its collections are accessible to everyone. Access to the Museum
Located on the west side of the building, the main entrance of The Blanton is wheelchair accessible. Visitors are welcome to drop off guests at the corner of Brazos Street and Jester Circle. Visitors arriving from The University of Texas Campus may access The Blanton in front of the Jester Center on Speedway.
An accessible drop-off ramp is located close to the museum's front entrance on the north side of the building. To get to the drop-off from Brazos Street turn left onto Jester Circle. The accessible drop-off is on the left. Please call the Visitor Services Desk at (512) 471-5482 if you need assistance dropping off a visitor.
There are four handicapped parking spaces located close to the museum's front door on the north side of the building on Jester Circle. Accessible and convenient parking is located in the Brazos Garage next door to the museum. The garage has a number of handicapped spaces on each level. After parking, just follow the signs and sidewalk to the museum front door. The Brazos Garage can also accommodate vans.

Inside the Museum
All public areas of the museum are wheelchair accessible, including the galleries, the eLounge, the Museum Shop, The Blanton Cafe, elevators, and restroom facilities.
The main entrance is also wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available in the main lobby on a first-come, first-served basis. The museum has a spacious elevator to provide access to the second floor. Gallery Assistants are stationed throughout the galleries for assistance. Standard telephones are available in case of emergency.
Sign-language interpretation can be scheduled for all programs and tours. Please contact the museum at least five days in advance to request an interpreter accommodation.
